Queen Bee Capture Lid
The queen bee capture lid is designed for easy, quick, and safe trapping of the queen bee directly on the comb even when among other bees. The lid is gently placed over the queen, preventing her escape. This eliminates the need to handle the queen manually, reducing the risk of any harm being caused to it.
The lid is made of plastic and is divided into two chambers with top openings. The green centre wall can be removed to create a larger chamber. It features sliding openings on the sides for controlled access by other bees.
You can also use this lid to introduce a new queen to the colony.
