Replacement anode for the solar ionizer. The copper anode contains a small amount of silver for water disinfection.

The solar ionizer, employing electrolysis, breaks down the copper into positively charged atoms which then surround negatively charged unicellular organisms (algae) which die. In the same way, silver ions disinfect the water of bacteria.

The copper anode is suitable for the solar ioniser from our e-shop. The copper anode has a lifespan of 2-3 years of year-round operation. In the Czech Republic, it is 5-6 seasons. When used in salt water, the copper anode corrodes faster.
