Cartel Leather Bow Stringer for Bows

The Bow Stringer is a very handy tool that you´ll appreciate even before your first shot with the bow. It becomes an indispensable aid for gently stringing the strings of foldable and recurve bows.

A stringer is an essential part of every serious archer´s equipment. It´s a simple but very necessary tool for stringing a bow. By using a stringer, the limbs of the bow bend more evenly, preventing damage.

First, you place one end of the string onto the tip of one limb of the bow, and then you slide the pocket of the Bow Stringer onto it. On the other limb, you place the other end/loop of the string. You hold the centre of the bow with one hand, step on the centre of the string, and pull, causing the bow to bend similarly to when it´s drawn. This shortens the bow to its usual length, and you can easily put the string on the other limb. Using a stringer requires much less force than stringing manually, where you might twist and strain the bow unnecessarily.
