Temperature Gauge ThermoMeter Magnetic
Temperature Gauge for Fireplace Stoves. With it, you ensure the optimal temperature of flue gases and prevent creosote buildup. The thermometer can also be used on stoves as a monitoring thermometer for fans on Ekovent fireplace stoves. You can attach it with a magnet or place it on a horizontal surface of the stove where the fan will be placed or attached. Thanks to it, you will be sure not to overheat the Ekovent fan.
Temperature Gauge for Fireplace Stoves. Temperature range 0°C to 500°C. Instant control of combustion process quality.
The thermometer is suitable for use on stoves as a monitoring thermometer for Ekovent stove fans. You can attach it or place it on a horizontal surface of the stove where the fan will be placed or attached. Thanks to it, you can be sure not to overheat the Ekovent fan.
Recommended temperature is divided into three zones:
1st zone CREOSOTE zone - too low temperature, stoves tar up.
2nd zone BEST OPERATION zone - optimal flue gas temperature.
3rd zone TOO HOT zone - high temperature, uneconomical heating.
1st zone CREOSOTE zone:
Temperature below 130°C is too low, resulting in a large amount of soot and smoke, causing the stove to tar up. At low temperatures, incomplete combustion occurs, and tar deposits in the flue and chimney. Part of the flue gases that have not yet burned exit the chimney without utilizing the energy they could release by burning, wasting fuel. The stove glass gets extremely dirty. Possible causes are a) inappropriate (wet) fuel, b) too little air in the stoves, c) low chimney draft. In this case, heat the stove more by increasing the air supply or adding more dry wood.
2nd zone BEST OPERATION zone:
Temperature from 130 to 250°C. Optimal and economical combustion. In this part of the scale, the stoves operate at their highest efficiency, with fuel burning and double combustion, wherein in the first stage the fuel burns and in the second (secondary) stage, gases burn.
3rd zone TOO HOT zone:
Temperature 250°C and above is too high, resulting in overheating, energy waste, stove damage, chimney damage, and fire risk as soot in the chimney can ignite. This temperature is reached briefly when firing the stoves and is not recommended for regular operation. The maximum allowed temperature in the chimney is 350°C.
