Langstroth Super 1/1 for Frames with a Height of 232 mm

A solid wood super for Langstroth hive assemblies with a height of 240 mm for 10 frames. The Langstroth Super 1/1 has a height of 240 mm and is suitable for frames with a top bar of 482 mm and a height of 232 mm. Langstroth 1/1 frames of the Hoffman type with a height of 232 mm can be found in our range.

This is a super from the Langstroth hive assembly. The internal dimensions adhere to international standards, i.e., 375 x 465 mm. The external dimensions of the super are 425 x 515 mm. Langstroth wooden supers are made from Eastern White Pine with a thickness of 25 mm.

The joints are designed with a rabbet joint. A bevelled feather and groove ensures connection without the need for screws or glue, but for better stability, we recommend glueing or screwing the joints. Grooves for frames are milled into the front and back sides. All four sides are externally equipped with milled handles. The front side features an opening with a diameter of 28 mm.

This super is suitable for brood boxes.
