Langstroth Frame 2/3, Hoffman Type, Size 482 x 159 mm

Sidebars with a width of 35 mm, of the Hoffman type, create a virtual second wall in the hive, forming an air gap between the frame and the hive. This gap acts as additional insulation and defines the frame spacing. The frames are made of Eastern White Pine.

The groove in both the top and bottom bars allows for:

- Inserting beeswax foundation; it is necessary to pour liquid wax onto the top bar.

- Wax dripping into the groove or inserting a wax strip, allowing bees a free construction.

- Avoiding the need for wiring frames.

- Easily securing queen cups.

- Inserting and effortlessly securing plastic foundation.

The frames are in delivered a disassembled state and need to be assembled.
