After hitting a target, the rat remains attached to the magnet in a lying position. A significant advantage of the shooting range is that after hitting all the large rats, hitting the small rat-shaped target in the centre will release all the targets from the magnet.
The targets are then ready for shooting again in their original position, eliminating the need to walk to the shooting range.

Another advantage of this shooting range is that it also serves as a pellet trap. Spent pellets accumulate at the bottom of the shooting range, which can be easily emptied after use.
