Langstroth 2/3 Type Hofmann Frame 482 x 159 mm

Sidebars with a width of 35 mm of the Hofmann type create a virtual second wall in the hive, creating an air gap between the frame and the hive, which acts as additional insulation and also defines the frame spacing. Frames are made of Eastern white pine.

The groove for the frame in both the top and bottom bars allows:

- insertion of a wax frame, it is necessary to pour liquid wax on the top bar

- dripping wax into the groove or inserting a wax strip, allowing bees-free construction

- avoiding wiring frames

- easily fixing queen cups

- inserting and easily fixing plastic frames

Frames are in a disassembled state. Assembly required.
